  Can't See the User Interface

  Why can't I see parts of the user interface in the game?
  Answer
  This problem generally occurs when the game sets the in-game resolution to one higher than the system is actually using to display the game. If you are experiencing this problem, check to see if the Options button is available on the Lineage II login screen. If so, click Options then click Initialize on the Game tab. If that does not help, choose the tab labeled Video. Try setting the game's Resolution to the lowest setting possible. If this works, then make sure that you set the game's Resolution back to one that is equal or less than the maximum resolution supported by your monitor.

Sometimes this resolution issue can make it so that the Options button is not visible. In that case, look for the file Option.ini in C:\Program Files\Lineage II\System by default. Open the file in notepad and set GamePlayViewportX=800 and GamePlayViewportY=600. These minor changes will set the game's resolution to 800 x 600 and should make it so you have full access to the game interface.
