Using the NCsoft Network Information Tool
  Question
How do I use the NCsoft Network Information Tool?
  Answer
We have a small utility that will run traceroutes, pathpings, and port tests to our servers. We ask that if you are using a router, hub, or switch, to first disconnect this device and connect directly to your satellite receiver before running this utility. You may have to reboot your receiver and/or computer to reestablish your Internet connection.

To download the network tool, please browse to this link. If the link does not work, you may need to set your FTP mode to passive. If you are using Internet Explorer, this option is located in the menu Tools > Internet Options... > Advanced > Use Passive FTP (for firewall and DSL modem compatibility).

After opening the above link, right-click the "netinfotool" file and choose Save As. Save the file to your desktop. After the download is complete, double-click the file on your desktop. Follow the on-screen prompts. The tool will take from 5-15 minutes to run. It will create two new files on your desktop, one named "EULA" and one named "network_data_XXX".  You can send the "network_data_XXX" file to your Internet service provider or use the Ask a Question link to send it to our Technical Support Team.
