The Lineage II game client is temporarily not available on our website. You will need to install the game using your discs. Alternatively, you can download the game from FilePlanet:

Click on the Download the Live Part II Client button.
Click Download This File Now!
If you have a FilePlanet account please log in and Download the file.
If you do not have a FilePlanet account, at the top of the page click Don't have an account? Click Here to Get One! and sign up for a free account.
Follow the registration steps on the next page. If you are prompted for billing information, click No Thanks for a free account.
Now you can go back to http://www.fileplanet.com/Lineage2/ and follow the steps to download the file.
If you are using a free login you will need to choose the servers at the bottom of the list that show a wait time.

The file is rather large. It will take a while to download. The finished file will be named "L2_Gracia_Part_2_Live_Installer.zip". This file is a compressed file, specifically a zip file. Before you can install the game, you need to extract (also known as "decompress" or "unzip") the files within the zip file.
Windows® XP and Vista has a built-in zip/unzip utility. If you just double-click the file, it will open a new window showing the files within. Do not run the setup.exe file in this fashion. Before running the installer, you need to extract the files. To use the built-in XP extractor:
- Right-click a blank spot on your desktop and choose New > Folder.
- Name the folder anything you would like; "Lineage II Installer" for example.
- Double-click the new folder to open it.
- Double-click the L2_Gracia_Part_2_Live_Installer.zip file to show the files within.
- Drag all of the files from the L2_Gracia_Part_2_Live_Installer.zip window over to the new folder window.
- The extraction process will take a while. It might take so long that it appears that the system is frozen. Please allow it at least 20 minutes to complete.
- After the extraction is complete, double-click setup.exe in the new folder. Follow the instructions in the wizard to install the game.
If you are not using Windows XP, you will need a third-party zip utility such as WinZip or WinRAR.

Please be aware that some older versions of these zip utilities have problems with the file. They might give a compression error or CRC error. If you have an older version of WinZip or WinRAR and you receive one of those errors, please download and use the latest version of WinRAR from the link above. Regardless of whether you use the Windows extractor, WinZip, or WinRAR, you still need to extract all of the files to a new location before running the setup file.
If you still have problems extracting the file, try deleting and re-downloading it. Be sure that you do not use any download accelerator software.
