The InPos(Initial Position) error appears when the loaded file size is different from the original file size. This may occur when downloading the client or loading the downloaded file from the system RAM or virtual drive. The following are solutions to this problem.
- Do not run a Check File, but instead completely reinstall the client.
- Check for hard disk errors. To do this, open My Computer. Right-click on the hard drive the game is installed on (usually C:\ ) and choose Properties. Go to the Tools tab and click Check Now. Place a check mark in both boxes and then click Start. On the next window click Yes, and then restart your computer. Do not touch any keys as the computer boots; this may take a while.
- Delete all temporary files from the operating system (Start > Program > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Organization) and the Internet browser (Internet Explorer > Tools > Internet Options > Delete Files ) and empty the Recycle Bin, then run 'Disk Defragmenter'.
- Check for any malfunctions in the system's RAM. If you have more than one stick of RAM installed, try removing one. Then try the game and see if you still receive the same error.
- If using a RAM drive, remove the drive.
