  Error Messages When Loading or Playing Lineage II
  Question
  While loading the game or during game play, I receive various error messages such as "No Label," "History Error," "Assertion Failed," or "General Protection Fault" and become disconnected.
  Answer
  This error may be due to a variety of problems, including low system specifications, conflicts with other programs, or hardware problems. The following solutions may help:
  • Before executing Lineage II, please use the msconfig utility, to close all non-Microsoft programs that may be running. To do this go to Start>Run, type "msconfig" (without quotes) and click OK. Click on Selective Startup, uncheck Load Startup Items, then go to the Services tab. Click Hide All Microsoft Services then uncheck all the ones you see. Click OK and restart.
  • Install the latest version of DirectX, which can be obtained from this link.
  • Update your  video card and sound card drivers to the latest version.
  • Verify memory error using memtest86 (http://www.memtest86.com/)
